You know you're in Italy when you inevitably bond with strangers while waiting for the bus because you're all complaining about waiting for the bus.
You know you're in Italy when you can smell fresh food at all hours of the day: fish, bread, pasta, the most wonderful sweets in the world. Italy has the most wonderful smells.
You know you're in Italy when the coffee takes effect in the same amount of time it takes to drink it: 30 seconds or less.
You know you're in Italy when the sight of an alleyway lined with balconies and laundry takes your breath away.
You know you're in Italy when you are begged at every meal to eat more....and then even more after that.
You know you're in Italy when every morning you wake up feels like a dream.

No i totally understand. This is totally a dream come true...an adventure i never imagined i'd ever get to experience. Sometimes, you just gotta see what's out there and go for it.
